Refund and Exchange Policy

General Transactions

  • No refund or guarantee will be made without a valid till slip or proof of purchase.
  • Refunds must be returned in the original packaging and condition within 14(Fourteen) days of purchase.
  • The original components and accessories are also returned.
  • The product has not been used and the original plug has not been tampered with.
  • In the interests of hygiene standards no refunds will be given on used. Travel boxes, dog jerseys and dog bedding.
  • Guarantee goods will be replaced within 14 days of purchase, thereafter it will be sent to the relevant supplier for replacement or repair.

Electrical and Electronic Products

  • All electrical products and light units carry a 6 Month manufactures guarantee unless otherwise stated.
  • Guarantees exclude negligence, misuse, abuse, insect damage, water damage, batteries, diaphragms, damage from lightning or power surges or incorrect installations.

Globes

  • Globes are considered consumable items and therefore carry no guarantee. Please ensure they are tested before purchasing.
  • A seven day working guarantee will be honoured on Aquatic and reptile globes that have been tested.
  • No refunds on globes.

Aquariums

  • Aquariums carry a 6 month guarantee on manufacturing defects subject to the following conditions.
  • Aquariums must be placed on a firm level surface or a custom built stand that has been levelled.
  • Polystyrene or compact foam must not be removed from base.
  • Aquariums must not be moved while containing water
  • Broken or chipped Panels are not covered by the guarantee.

Livestock

  • There are NO refunds on ANY livestock.
  • Please select your pets carefully as there is no guarantee on any livestock.
  • No guarantees on fish, invertebrates and marine corals,
  • Please refer to our terms and conditions in our fish room when buying fish and plants.

General terms and Conditions

  • No transaction will deemed to be concluded until it has been paid for in full at the pay terminals.
  • Please insist that our staff examine and test any guarantee component or breakable before leaving the store to validate your guarantee.
  • A 15 % handling charge will be levied on all goods returned not covered by CPA.
  • We reserve the right to decline any offer made on our products or livestock.
